We couldn’t be more humbled to share the amazing success that Gippslandia magazine has had ever since it started as a passion project inside the walls of our studio. Our team launched Gippslandia in the Summer of 2016 with an identity refresh in 2019 prior to the release of issue 14. The redesign focussed on structure and clarity, as well as incorporating new ‘coming of age’ typefaces, all while retaining an edge of youthfulness. Freshening the look and sticking to Gippslandia’s philosophy ‘never stand still’, the new visual brand then inspired a redesign of the website. This month, Gippslandia.com.au has been awarded 1st place at the Melbourne Design Awards 2021 for Digital News & Information, recognising Gippslandia’s outstanding digital experience, developed by Today Design.
