TVFH help launch the Gippslandia Pop-Up Shop and cookbook

December 12, 2019

We’re proud to share the launch of the very first Gippslandia Pop-Up Shop, and self published book! The launch was celebrated with pride, support (and a couple of cans) on Tuesday, 3 December in Traralgon to coincide with the launch of ‘Book of Life’, a cookbook project that resulted from Gippslandia’s inclusion in ‘Beyond The Sash’, a TV series featuring former Mrs Australia contestants on the hunt for worthy new contestants in regional areas (read more about it all here).

The Pop-up Shop includes an array of products and collections shared by Gippsland’s talented artists and designers, a chance to celebrate each issue of Gippslandia published in the past 3 years, Christmas gifts of all sorts and the ability to pre-order your very own Gippslandia ‘Book of Life’ Cookbook, prior to the release.

The team at TVFH has been excited to be part of creating such a beautiful atmosphere for our local Gippslandians to come and take a look, and share the love of Gippsland with the community this December.

The space has come up a treat thanks to Gippsland PHN who provided funding through it’s ‘One Good Community‘ grant, as well as support from prior contributors, helpers and Gippslandians along the way, including an array of local supporters and sponsors who have helped make the shop (and the launch) happen. To get in and check it out for yourself, head over to 27-29 Franklin St, Traralgon; the store will be open until Christmas.

A Gippslandia subscription voucher as the perfect Chrissy gift.

Bessie Kay, one of the producers of ‘Beyond The Sash’ TV show hosted the celebration if Gippslandia’s very first Cookbook, ‘The Book of Life’, produced as a result of the show profiling mental health issue in Gippsland’s farming community.

Gippslandia totes!

The pop-up occupies a prominent space on the corner of Hotham and Franklin Street’s in Traralgon (in the former Stockdale & Leggo office) and will remain open until Christmas Eve 2019.

Gippslandia Co-Founders Michael Duncan, Tim Leeson and John Calabro share in the 3rd birthday spoils.

TVFH team, Si Billam, Andy Northover, Shane Gaving and superstar Gippslandia contributor (and family member) Lisa Northover enjoying the space.
