Gippsland Emergency Relief Fund

Project Description

When natural disaster strikes, GERF act quickly to distribute emergency funds to Gippslanders for basics like food, shelter and clothing. Since 1978, volunteers have provided a welcome relief after crisis — much like a rainbow after a storm.

Following the devastating bushfires of 2020, GERF’s critical role in crisis was recognised with funding from Bushfire Recovery Victoria to ensure their stability, longevity, and preparedness into the future. With a new donation-focussed website, a visual identity nodding to the fund’s honourable history, and a suite of content and marketing tools — the project ultimately expanded GERF’s positive impact in Gippsland.
