The latest issue of Gippslandia magazine is now making it’s way around Gippsland. Our 11th issue is centred on leadership, covering a range of issues from local legends, people of influence, local authors, programs that promote leadership, and plenty more.
Artist Vera Möller’s recent exhibition at Bunjil Place featured explorations of sea-life captured in the coastal shores and towns of Bass Coast’s Western Port Bay.
TVFH director and Gippslandia co-founder John Calabro points the spotlight on an early mentor, Frank Mesaric. As John’s art teacher in Year 10 & 11, much of John’s early understanding of design, layout, page composition, contrast and balance is attributed to Frank’s guidance.
This issue’s front and back covers both feature work by our studio… Beneath the stunning blue portrait taken at The Town festival is a sample of fashion photography by our very own Andrew Northover for local Traralgon hair studio, Alchemy.
The back cover features illustrations by TVFH in house gun Shane Gavin, as part of the ‘Hello’ mental health campaign currently seen around the Latrobe Valley.
